ok so i finally got my screen and got it installed today and everythings working as its supposed to but now my wifi will come on for a few seconds and then go off like it isnt recieving a signal. i reset all network settings and now i am restoring so im hoping this will fix the problem. is there anything else that could cause this to happen?

The only firmware Apple requires a signature on is the firmware for 3GS
There is Redsn0w and Pwnage tool for 3.1.3

That's pretty funny (not really) I replaced my dock connector and the home button didn't work afterwords. So I sprayed cleaner on it and it got under the screen and jacked it all up. Turned out the reason the home button didn't work was because I had the tabs for the dock connector on top of the trim tabs instead of under it. So I ruined my LCD for nothing. So I know the feeling you probably had with your router x2
