iPhone 2G Issues

I have two iPhones, 2G, and both have issues..

8gb will not power on nor accept charge

16gb powers on to the apple logo, and will just power off and go blank, no water damage on either phone..

Anyone give me a rough diagnoses or possibly get one good phone from both the bad ones? Thanks!

Have you tried a restore on the 16 GB?
The 8GB sounds like the same thing that happened to mine.....it's supposed to be a flex cable problem....One1 diagnosed it for me and sent me to a page he has about it.....pretty hard for someone without skills to fix....I did good until the sautering

Yup, flex issues....possibly a battery issue on one of them.

I am going to take them both in for out of warranty replacement, I smashed both screens and soaked them in the sink for 30 mins.. I cant wait to see the look on the peoples faces...
