is it possible to replace 3G board?

so is it possible if i bought 3GS board and i install it in my 3G phone... will everything work except the compass feature? does the camera, earphone, mic, etc work normally with 3GS speed? im planning to buy the 3GS board and sell my 3G board..

cuz i think its a cheaper way to upgrade to 3GS.. :P

the 1 and cables are different and the camera is different shaped then the 3g so thats what it wont work.

It will work, but you need to replace the digitizer, the LCD, the Dock Connector Assembly, and Camera as well. The only thing still compatible from your 3G is the Vibrator, Home Button, Power Flex, Battery, and Housing.

thats like changing the to a whole 3GS..

was hoping could change only the circuit board. but oh well, waitin 4G to come out.. :P so 3Gs price drop.. hehe..

the camera is bigger than the 3g it wouldnt even fit and a board is about the same price as a 3GS complete
