    Default Replaced iPhone LCD, Possible ribbon 3 damage?
    Hi Guys,

    I've been doing alot of reading in regards to ribbon 3.. Had the LCD replaced in my iPhone and the earpiece/proximity sensor doesn't work.

    I had a look on the internet and found that Ribbon 3 controls both of those, I have opened up my iPhone and made sure that ribbon 3 is in contact and the white clip is pushed down, But still no sound/proximity sensor action!

    What are your suggestions?

    you may have damaged the ribbon 3. theres a couple of DIYs on here on how to replace it.
