Are you sure you are doing DFU correctly?

    yes,
I hold the home and sleep button for 10 seconds,
then i realease the sleep and hold the home for ten.
    nothing happens.

all it does is reboot back to the pineapple logo every seix minutes

It possible that either your home button and/or power button are faulty, not allowing you to boot into DFU mode.

The home and the power button wouldn't be faulty. If they were he wouldn't be able to do hard resets continuously. You simply aren't succesfully entering recovery mode. Keep trying. Watch a video and follow along of you have to. You are going to have to enter recovery/DFU mode before you can do anything.
