Thread: iphone reboots with usb?

Everything else is fine but every time I connect the USB cable it reboots---i can access ssh---everything else works fine---how would i enter restore? DFU and restore do not work

    Does you iPhone have water damage to the dock connector?

    no i dont believe so--it charges fine with usb via wall

    is there a way for me to erase everything anothrr way?

    You can erase your phone by going to settings->general->reset and there you can erase all settings. This process takes forever however.

    oh true---except i forgot the password---can i retreive it via ssh?
    any other ways?
