3G Cracked Screen + Future Mods
I'm buying a Black 3G with a cracked screen for cheap. LCD is working fine. What are some good websites where I can buy replacement screen? Also I would like to customize the 3G since I am going to open it. Couldn't find any websites that sell colored parts likes the home button, etc...
As of right now I need a White Back Plate, White Bezel, White Home Button, Black Volume/Mute/Power On Buttons (I understand they're Chrome). The Sim Tray is already Black. What else am I missing? If those aren't for sale, Do I need to sand and spray paint them myself? I'm stuck in an apartment building. No ventilation nor space.
I want mine to look like this:

You can get a replacement digitizer/glass for about $15-$20 from ebay. You should get a OEM backplate from ebay too. The bezel, home button, and side buttons need to be painted. I don't think painting the home button is a good idea because it might not sit flush anymore.

The home button is transparent and the black is underneath.

Which buttons? the home button? you will have to paint it from underneath and it will sit flush if you remove the black paint. The button itself is transparent.
