    Default Iphone no service message please help
    i have had my iphone 3g for about a year now and recently a no service message appeared. If i try to send a text it will take about 3 minutes and then not go threw. Also, 3g works but i live in and area without 3g. Lastly, Sim card works, tried it in friends phone. PLEASE HELP ME

    Do as Zwayne said, make sure you are running the most current firmware, make sure you have the most updated carrier settings. You can also reset the network settings by going to Settings->General->Reset.

    Did you happen to ever open the phone or look to see if you broke the little piece that touches the bezel that acts like an antenna. Its on the dock sometimes it can be broken or bent where its not touching the bezel if any hardware work has been done to the phone.
