Default blank screen after digitizer/lcd replacement
I got a iphone for free from a girl who lost all hope after she ran it over. (picture dumb blonde with daddys credit card) screen was shattered and the lcd underneath was broken in many places as well. I hooked it up to itunes and restored it and synced it it all functions fine so i decided to buy the parts and replace the broken parts myself.

everything went well and it seems like a hard process to mess up but I must have done something wrong as now there is nothing on the screen at all.. any suggestions? or can I pay someone to fix it for me? please? lol thanks

Read a post on here about a similar problem a while back, it stated that when you replace the Lcd/digitizer you have to do a hard reset of the phone, try it what have you to loose, hope this helps.

I've recently began fixing iphones that I bought for cheap then selling them. The last one I replaced the screen on did the same thing and like mickish1953 said all you have to do is a hard reset. In case you don't know how all you do is hold the power and home buttons until the apple log shows up.
