    Default ^^^***iphone screen not working******%$$
    Ok,i replaced my iphone lcd at first it was showing white and some lines were goin across the screen so i tried another lcd. and it worked atleast for about 4hrs then the screen went white and then off completely so i put another in and nothing still.i was told that there is a solution to this problem just not sure what it is the person told me to update it or some kind of software can anybody tell me is this is true.And what the solution is the phone still works an connects to the computer but the screen will not show up

    Not a repair specialist but are you certain that you don't have a flex cable problem?

    What kind of iPhone is it? water damage? software?

    Its an Iphone 3G, there is no water damage and its definately not a flex cable because the flex is attached to lcd and we are getting the same problem. As for type of software its on the latest version 3.0 or 3.1 . The phone still powers on, if you connect it to the computer it still recognizes it, just nothing on the LCD.
