Where is the iphone 3g antenna located?

I get no service at most areas but get a weak signal when I'm close to a tower...

My iphone 3g has no warranty and I did open it to replace a broken screen. Problem started since I got the new screen installed.

Thanks

Did you mess with the dock assembly or mainboard when you messed with the glass?

Cause the antenna is glued to the underside of the dock assembly....pin connector comes up through the dock assembly and "touches" the mainboard to make connection.

So, messing with the screen shouldnt have an effect on the antenna at all.

PS- Moved to correct forum.

check your connector 6. I'm not sure if that connector is just for wifi, but it may be related to yor cell signal. If you took the mainboard out, another problem I've seen is a crack on the bottom right corner of the pcb from improperly removing the mainboard. If you cracked the pcb. you're sol
