iphone touch screen not working? HELP!

I NEED HELP! can anyone help me?
i download a program in cydia called "desktop/background" app i think thats what it was called. it allows you to change your sms background without winterboard. after i downloaded it and i respringed it. then i tried touching my icons it would not work and i tried sliding it and it still didnt work so its stuck on one page. The slide lock and home button and power button worked only because when i press the home button it went to the search place but it wouldnt allow me to type anything. so can anyone help? is there a way to delete that program through ssh? please helpp ASAP! oh yeahh and my wifi is on

try doing a soft reset by holding down the power and home together for 10 secs if that doesnt fix i would try restoring with itunes and rejailbreak it.
