DIY Dust Removal (FAO maybe cpjr)
my previous iPhone had build up of dust behind the screen and i got it replaced now 4 months later im getting dust build up again behind the screen now i find it hassle going to apple again and doing the whole restore and re-jailbreak etc etc... is their a way for me to take apart the screen and remove the dust myself or is it just not worth it?
thanks in advance...

If u r under warranty u r better off visiting the A-store.
Not a good idea to void the warranty.Do hope that helps

Ya just take the back off and start going through parts till you reacht the screen. Taking the back plate off isnt fun but you can figure it out. I did my ipod touch with a letter opener.. works fine. There are hooks on the back plate its important that you dont break them.
Videos are everyone on how to take apart iphones im sure you could do it
But if you are under warranty you might as well send it in easier and not risky

Its not hard to take the screen assembly off and remove the LCD to clean the area......if you really want. I can have it done and back together in about 15 minutes.
Sounds like you have bad luck....I've had several 3g's and a 3Gs and have never had that issue yet.
