Default Remove Screen/connectors while phone still powered on
Hi guys i got a quick question hopefully theres some pro's about that know the answer lol

I removed my screen today while taking my 3GS apart and then realised i had forgot to turn the phone off lol, i got as far as removing connectors 1 and 2 before realising, i put them back and played around with the phone for a bit and it seems fine...

Does anyone know what connectors 1, 2 are for and if removing them while powered on would/could have screwed the phone up??

Seems a bit glitchy but thats probably me just freaking out and imagining it lol

    Thanks, Matt.

Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

    #1 is the LCD
    #2 is the digitizer
    #3 is the proximity sensor

And its not gonna hurt anything if you unplug them while the phone is on. At most you may have to hold down both the power and home button to force reboot the phone after plugging them back in.

Because the cables are "stacked" on top of each other.

You cant really go in any other order. Otherwise, it doesnt matter.

Its almost like unplugging your monitor while your PC is running sure you can do it and it won't really effect the PC itself but why would you want to in the first place?
