i didnt do nothing, i was only carrying on my bag and when i took it out it was off. so i charged it, and it was not turning on, then after 2 days i charged it again and it turned on normally, but the touchscreen was not working. the home button, power and volume are working.
i think it is screwed up, but if there is any solution, please let me klnow, thanks.

sounds like a digitizer issue. if you dont know how to do hardware repairs on an ipod you are in a really crappy situation right now. if so you can get a new digitizer and screen for like 90 bucks and install thatThe beatings will continue until morale improves.

Try resetting it completely by holding the power/home button until it reboots. If this doesn't work, restore. If none of this works, then it IS a hardware problem.

1. Check to make sure there's no physical damage to the screen
2. If no damage and you're under warranty, head to your apple store and let them sort it out
3. If you're not under warranty, accept the fact your touch panel somehow is destroyed and needs to be replaced
4. seek instructions on how to replace that part and hop to it.

If its a 2nd gen you should still be under warranty.
restore (if jailbroken) and take it in to appleI always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something
