iPhone 3G S Digitizer Gasket/Midframe.

I bought an iPhone 3GS off of someone who cracked their screen. She took out the whole screen/lcd/midframe and now she lost it.

I have an extra iPhone 3G midframe lying around and I was wondering if I were to buy the 3GS LCD/Digitizer would it fit onto the frame of the iPhone 3G's midframe?

Good question. So far I haven't noticed a different sized LCD or digitizer for the 3GS among aftermarket suppliers.

I would assume at this moment they share the same parts. Don't hold me to it...yet

Let's look up some part #s to confirm the facts first

Both midframes are the same.

However the parts that go on it are different between the two. The digitizer, LCD, etc "look" the same but the connectors are actually different.
