So i knew this was going to happen, apple has the habit of asking you if you would like to renew your warrenty for another 2 years for 40 dollars or so, and i said no. Now ONE MONTH out of warranty, the audio crapped out on me.
I can hear cymbals and the highs (the P's and S's in the vocals, and guitar solos), but that is all i hear. I have no idea what is wrong with it, or what i could do to fix this problem. I was thinking of cracking the baby open and finagling with the audio port's prongs.. but i looked into it being taken apart, and it seems the audio port's prongs are enclosed with a plastic box.
What should i do? I rely on my ipod on a day to day basis to listen to pod casts and get through my day.
Thanks in advance!
Oh, and i know it's the port since my ipod dock still works with it at home.
bump for suggestion.
