3G housing and bezel replacing

While people are all checking out the new 3Gs, I was inspecting my 3G....and what do I find? A nice one inch crack going up the docking port on the housing! ARGHHHHH~~

So the search for a replacement housing and I ended up here in this forum. Found some different color'ed housings (not OEM) from the bay for cheap.....and decided to get a new black bezel along with it too.

Question: Found a whole bunch of metal 3G black bezels (claimed to be OEM). As far as I know...only iTouch came with black bezels, can they be used on the iPhone 3G as well? Or are they just 3rd party stuff like the color'ed housings as well?

No way iTouch is too thin it would never fit on an iphone. The bezel is not as thick on the itouch and I think the screens are not as rounded on the edges as iphone on itouch

Just make sure it specifies working on the iphone, it wont be oem but it should be ok. Also make sure its NOT plastic and is actually metal. Plastic sux.

Thanks Nickfranco5~ Got it~ Gonna ask the seller this. Had the feeling that the seller is gonna say "yes~ Fits iPhone 3G" for all questions asked....LOL
