ive got just one question..
does the iphone still power on if there is no battery soldered in? like if u connect to a charger, can it still turn on without the battery in it?
and btw i was soldering in a new battery, and there were 3 beads....
i accidently soldered two of those beads together....
so then the iphone couldnt get past the apple logo when i tryed to turn it on

The phone will still power on if you connect it a computer through USB.
If you are getting the silver apple whenever it starts up, then
1. hold down the home button
2. disconnect the usb
3. plug the USB in again.
This should get you past that and give you a connect to Itunes screen.

Did you increase the capacity to 1600 or replaced with the same 1150 ? If you did , any noticeable difference in battery life ?
