    Default broken digitizer?
Well today I dropped my 2g iPhone on the floor and now m screen does not respond to touch. The iphone is about a year and a half old and has seen its fair share of abuse. I am pretty sure the problem is my digitizer, but is there any way to know for sure?? I tried restoring it, even restoring from recovery mode. Any suggestions before I pronnounce it officially garbage??

EDIT: also, everything else about the phone works perfectly- I already missed like a bunch of calls and txts just bc i cant touch anything...

    Yup its the digitizer.

Crappy thing on a 2g is that you have to replace the entire screen assembly as they are 1 part. And that part will run ya between $130-$150.

Thats the only way. Unless you can find the part used somehow....but I doubt that will happen.

Im sure you could get it sold....but its not worth much like that. Possibly someone looking to use the mainboard/commboard.

But you could probably ebay it for $100 or so.
