    Default Attempting to replace housing
would it be recommended or just a good idea to change an iPhone housing without out any experience what so ever and just going off a disassemble guide?

I wouldn't recamond it because I tried it on my own and i messed up my iphone. Just in case when you do get it open make sure you open the clip on ribbon 3 and take out the ribben.

if you mess it up there you can no longer hear from your ear speaker

I wouldnt try it if you dont have any experience dealing with small electronics. You most likely will break something, the iphone is very "fragile" inside.

i do have quite a bit of experience in wiring guitar and speakers.
what i meant by no experience is never before taken apart an iPhone or other cellular device.

but is there any guide you could recommend that is super detailed that would be good to check out?

If your going to do this yourself, there are a ton of vids on you tube. You can also do a google search.
If you are not 100%, my advise is to have a pro like cpjr do it. I have read so many posts from members who have attempted this and ended up screwing it up even more.
I am not promoting work for any one by any means, but cpjr and One1 are some of the best around and very reasonable too.
    Good luck.
