Camera not working hardware or software?
I've recently just transferred my photos from iPhone 3G to PC. The next thing I know my camera isn't working no more.
Problem: Camera app runs fine but there's a black screen with greyed/blurred camera button.
I tried googling this problem and tried searching around forums but there was no solution. Anybody with any clues what's going on? and possible a DIY fix? Thanks...

if the button is greyed, i'd say its most likely a software issue.
restore and see if that helps

sounds like a software issue for sure. you may have to restore

thanks for all the replies, I've tried everything possible to be honest... Restoring it didn't work. Erasing the phone via settings>general>reset>erase all contents for settings and waited for 1 hour for the process, didn't work...
I don't really wanna bring the phone in they will replace another phone with higher baseband and I cannot then unlock with yellowsnow...

did you try to restore the iPhone with DFU Mode? Sometimes when you recover the iPhone, the software gets wiped but some issues remain. I had an issue that seemed like the Flex Cable symptoms, did a restore without DFU Mode and the problems persisted. Once I did DFU Mode, the phone was back to normal and has been working for 4 months now.
