Frankenstein iPhone?
Has anyone tried to take a G1 antenna(3g) or a higher MP camera and put it into their iPhone? I searched everywhere on here for info on it and found nothing. I don't know if it would work at all, but figured I'd ask here first.

I would never work, its much more complicated than swapping a part.

I'm sure there's a way to make it work, just a matter of fitting all the pieces in there and pinning it out correctly. Why can't we modify the AT&T 3G antenna to work on T-mobile's frequency either?

^Because its built into the commboard. Thus, you would have to "build" a new commboard for the phone. Its not just an antenna.
Sure it could be done....but not by the average joe.

From what I've seen in the schematics its still able to be removed and a new one soldered on to its contact ports. Same with the camera, like a daughter board for an ecu...
