Yes, it will. All you have to do is take all your accessories (including box and the phone itself) to the Apple Genius Bar and just tell them that it has dead pixel(s). Make sure you restore the phone BEFORE you go. They want it clean, without any crap installed.

I'm curious if they will replace the phone. I know with other electronics, there's a dead pixel 'limit' when it comes to replacing. Usually you have to have a certain number before they will.

I had one dead pixel on my 3G. I took it in and they said they have a no tolerance rule on dead pixels for the iPhone/Touch (as long as it is under warranty) since the screen is the main interface to the phone. They replaced my screen assembly, which is everything inside the metal bevel...glass, LCD, ear speaker and home button.

Just thought I would add my 2 cents.

Apple takes it back for anything. They took back my first 3GS because there was a piece of dust under the screen. It was one piece but it bugged me once I saw it for the first time. It was like a focus point after that lol. So I thought I would see what Apple could do and they traded it out without questions.
