Would it be worth it to buy a small silicone cover for the dock connector of my iPhone to help keep out water, or could water get in through the speaker holes just as easily?
My last iPhone died because the bottom part fell into some water and I don't want it to happen again.

Don't know about covering up the speaker holes unless youalways use headphones. Covering the dock sounds like insurance.

Haha yeah thanks. The water was in a very unexpected place, but I will definitely be more careful next time.
I don't plan on covering the speaker holes (not really sure how I would!) but I was just wondering if it would be pointless to cover the dock connector since the speaker holes are there too. I did forget about the water sensor in the dock though, maybe the plug could protect that...

that is amazing! I wonder if it leaves some kind of strange residue on the phone's screen. I'll be considering it for the next iPhone.
