Hi All, any ideas how much it'll cost to have a iPhone 3g screen replacement and how long it takes for the apple store to replace it?
Am in the UK.
Any help would be appreciated,

Apple wont.
But you can purchase the part, glass and digitizer for less than $30 + you'll need the adhesive to apply it for around $6.

Yup, ebay's the cheapest......the glass/digitizer is one piece. DONT buy just the glass, its useless. And then you can buy the adhesive from etechparts.com
But yeah, apple doesnt do repairs.

ifixit.com has good guides.
but you can hassle me when you get the parts. Its not hard if you have some electronics experience....but ask before guessing....its not hard to screw something up or tear your LCD, which is much more expensive.
