    Default hardware crash on restore
[email protected]/greenpois0n over redsnow: After itunes restore(on apr28) i began to experience hardware glitches-first the volume scroll feature defaulted to single clik (removing screen shot priority from vol/both relieved this for a while)then vol. control dropped out entirely as soon as any app opened(reload settings fixed this till next "app open")Reloaded cydia, deleted all custom settings-no help.Saved hash, upgraded (4.3.2)(cydia deleted of course)and then the power switch deleted, preventing DFU (still no vol.)so reloaded a working 4.2.1 and got vol. back for a while, but still no power sw.Now no amount of reset, restore, reload, reboot,up or downgrade will recover vol. or power.standard pod stuff still OK except on 1 restore it came up w/o resident(not deletable) i-apps!.now it's stuck on no vol.or power switches rendering mods impossible.is this a baseband issue?bootrom glitch?contacted i-support who sent me to mac store who thinks "hardware failure"&recomended replacement(takes about a week).time is short for mods to4.3.2,so before i try warranty replacement(thereby giving all my custom *** to apple)i'm wondering if anyone else has similar issues and or fixes,workarounds(1 minute auto lock shuts it off OK)other suggestions.i intend to erase all before returning to apple&recommend this to anyone who returns any i-device(no sense making it easier for apple to make our lives more difficult)THANX for all the toil&sweat! At this point it sounds like your iPod is screwed up pretty badly. I reccomend you just stop trying DFU and just restore from iTunes. At this point it's your only option if you wish to be able to use your iPod again.
