If I were to plan to have dual OS on my computer, it would have to be DESKTOP, not laptop/notebook... Having Mac OS and Windows in one is amazing. There's some applications that I can't do on Windows. I'm planning to buy a desktop at least 2 or 3GB. of memory ram. I don't know about the video card, probably Nvidia 256MB or ATI and processor. AMD is great for power. I would go with AMD but Intel is also great for less power consuming.

If your going to build a hack go with an Intel proc, it is 10x more stable and compatible.

I've got a Dell Latitude E6400 running OSX Mountain lion fine
They're really good and easy to set up.

Intel Proc is pretty great for stability..
