What computer should I buy for OSx86?

I'm considering buying a new computer to make an OSx86 PC. What have you all purchased that you have up and running with little problems? I'm trying to encourage discussion to help others in the future as well so please help!

Gigabyte GA965P-DS3 v2 motherboard
Intel Q6600 Quad Core cpu
OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual
Channel RAM
NVidia GeForce 7900 GS video card
Several SATA 3.0 drives (about 3.5T space)

If I were to plan to have dual OS on my computer, it would have to be DESKTOP, not laptop/notebook... Having Mac OS and Windows in one is amazing. There's some applications that I can't do on Windows. I'm planning to buy a desktop at least 2 or 3GB. of memory ram. I don't know about the video card, probably Nvidia 256MB or ATI and processor. AMD is great for power. I would go with AMD but Intel is also great for less power consuming.

If your going to build a hack go with an Intel proc, it is 10x more stable and compatible.

Build one. It's cheaper, you can get specific parts that work with OSX86, and you can put however much power/etc. on it.

Use this for 10.5.6 parts: HCL 10.5.6 - OSx86
Use this for 10.5.7 parts: HCL 10.5.7 - OSx86
