Default Upgrade Iphone 4S from 6.1.2 jailbroken to ios 7
    Hey y'all.

I am getting nowhere trying to restore my iphone 4S. I cannot restore to 6.1.2, nor any ios 7 ipsw. I am on 6.1.2 jailbroken.

I tried saving shsh-blobs With tinyumbrella, and think i did it right, however it makes no difference as i try to upgrade in itunes. Server started or not.

    Any advice?

I just did, and got a step further. But now itunes gangs at "preparing iphone for restore. Nothing happens, and the iphone isn't changed at all.. I get it out of dfu and it is still ob 6.1.2 all the same. Thoughts?

It's a long shot, but have you tried TinyUmbrella's "Exit Recovery" or redsn0w's "Fix Recovery" feature?

I have used it to get out of recovery yes. My phone then boots into 6.1.2 as if nothing has occured. So itunes can't access the phone to restore it it seems. Not in recovery, nor dfu, not anything.

When in recovery mode, I get "an unknown error has happened, (error 11)" when in DFU it hangs at "preparing iphone for restore".

    Hard one this..

It's booting back into 6.1.2 from DFU? Haven't seen that one before.

Would you mind posting your restore logs (accessed by hitting Command + Shift + G in Finder, then typing "~/Library/Logs/iPhone Updater Logs" without the quotes in OS X; accessed by hitting the Windows key + R, then typing "%AppData%\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Updater Logs" without the quotes in Windows) from one of these failed DFU attempts? The logs are numbered in chronological order. Please use a "paste" site like ghostbin.com or hastebin.com to host the text, and then link us here.
