I just had to try it. Looks like just restores to original state. No biggie. So I kinda wonder if only device that cant do a firmware upgrade or is that in ios = remove jb and restore?

Or is firmware update in apple a synonum to latest ios?

Why does evasion jb need itunes? Needed to install itunes to jailbreak heh

I gotta say that if want to change firmware looks like a nogo in either directions...restored and 3times jailbreak this ipd5 and ipad3 today. Maybe now its enuf. I give up. Just tried to get firmware upgraded on ios 7.0.4 so could use new apps.

Blkcadi: is there a way to change the firmware? As in upgrade?

Sure, iTunes will do that for you.Open iTunes, Click on "device" , then click on "Restore". It will automatically update your device to the newest firmware. 7.0.4, then you can use evasi0n to jailbreak if desired.

You make almost no sense... You have never installed iTunes?
