Hi, copy/backup all your /Media/DCIM photos somewhere
Then backup these 4 files (if they exist), then delete them and reboot.
    Should rebuild your photo library

    /Media/DCIM/.MISC/Info.plist
    /Media/PhotoData/MISC/DCIM_APPLE.plist
    /Media/PhotoData/Photos.sqlite
    /Media/PhotoData/PhotosAux.sqlite

But then can I paste the photos back and will they pop back into my photos album?

Hi, leave your DCIM photos where they are, I just recommended backing them up somewhere first, a reboot should rebuild your Camera Roll based on what is in the DCIM folder, then you can move them to other Photo Albums afterwards if you wish.

If it doesn't work, put those 4 files back.

Only two of those files were there and I deleted them and rebooted and it did not fix it.

Hi, if you have them, copy them somewhere first as a backup, then delete.

DCIM_APPLE.plist is in the /var/mobile/Media/PhotoData/MISC/ folder
Photos.sqlite is in the /var/mobile/Media/PhotoData/ folder
PhotosAux.sqlite is in the /var/mobile/Media/PhotoData/ folder

    And reboot

I did exactly that, But it didn't seem to rebuild the library since only two of the files are in the phone the first and 3rd file are missing or not even there

Hi, well it would appear that information was for iOS5.
On iOS6, backup and then delete any
    ModelInterest.sqlitexxxx and
Photos.sqlitexxxx files you have in the
    /var/mobile/Media/PhotoData folder
    And also the
    DCIM_APPLE.plist
Close the photo app from the multitasking bar and reboot.
When you next click on the photo album, it should do a rebuild.

Hey none of my photos in the message app are saving now? I can see all my old photos but none of my new photos that I'm saving are showing up in the photo app
