My 3GS got bricked by a ... friend... of mine.
I'm a jb n00b, but what I understand is my baseband is corrupt.
Week 139, blank baseband, bluetooth is 00:00:00:00:00:00...
Looks like no one find a way to fix this, am I right ?
Other problem, my device keep rebooting after 2 mn of use, is there a way I fix this reboot loop ? That I can use my device as an ipod, or something ?
Thanks for any advice on what to do to get the better from my bricked phone

What are you seeing for IMEI and Wi-Fi? If it's blank or all zeroes, then we're dealing with a lemon here. This could be caused possibly from attempting to install the iPad baseband on this phone (also, sometimes these things "just happen" if there was a corruption or power fluctuation when flashing the baseband). It'll need a new baseband chip (easier just to replace the whole main logic board), or get it swapped out at Apple ($150 USD unless you have AppleCare).

Sadly, the only options I see are swapping out the logic board yourself (not exactly an easy or cheap iPhone part to find while also ensuring it's legitimate, nor is it an easy repair), or go the Apple replacement route...
