    Default Restore/update iPhone 4S
    Hi everybody!

I have a jailbroken 4S with 5.01, but it is full of cydia tweaks an has became very unstable.

What are currenly my options to get it clean and jailbroken again? I have the blobs, can I go to 6.1.2? And finally, if not, can I at least restore and jailbreak again my 5.01?

    Thank you in advance!!

If you have 5.0.1 shsh you can re-restore to 5.0.1 using redsnow's restore feature.

Thanks for you quick answer Simon

So I understand I have no other chance than restoring my 5.01 firmware, haven't I?
In that case, do I necesary need to snitch my SHSH blob with redsnow? I've tried to restore using Tiny Umbrella server and I've got an iTunes 11 error code.

You don't stitch your shsh with a 4S. Redsnow actually does the restore for you. Under extras>even more.

It is what it says. For your shsh to work for a re-restore you would have had to update/restore to the firmware you are on with iTunes originally. If you OTA updated or never updated restored since getting it new then redsnow can't restore your device unfortunately.

So, as I have SHSH for 5.01, 5.01b, 5.1.1, 6.01 and 6.1.2 and none of these seem to work... my only chance if I want to clean my 4S is uploading to 6.1.3 using itunes and loosing any jailbreak possibility??

Did you try both 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 with redsnow?
