    Default Restore to Stock?
    Hi All,

You may remember me as Will01 from times past, anyways, lost access to that email so can't reset and I been afk due to starting a family.

Aside from that, I recently acquired an iPhone 4S from my partner as she upgraded to a Galaxy S3, it's on a iOS5 which I know has battery issues but I will leave it there for the ability to jailbreak alone.

The question however, is how best to restore it to remove all her crap, photo's, contact's music etc without losing iOS5.0?

    Any Ideas?

Apologies if this is a stupid question, I been out of the 'scene' for a while now....

    Many Thanks,

    Will

PS. Is it possible to get Will01 back? That email was hacked, so no ability to reset it?

If her iphone is not jailbroken, then you can hit reset all settings. If it is jailbroken, then you need to manually delete the data. Restoring your iphone will get you to 6.1.3 and no jailbreak.

Ok, thanks for your reply, i'm not sure if you can answer this, but I did start to jailbreak her iphone using redsn0w, I got as far as installing the jailbreak profile to her phone then it was uploading a modified something or other, then it froze so the jailbreak process is not yet completed.

Can I use the reset all settings option or do I need to do it manually?

Thank's I followed your advice and reset all settings. Then jailbroke the phone and was able to use pkgbackup to restore most of my old bootrom 3gs (i'll miss this phone, jailbroken for life ftw!) stuff back across, with the exception of a few apps data which didn't restore the process was pretty flawless even though it took quite some time.

Thanks for the help guys. Appreciated.
