Hi all, Please help...I dont want to restore and upgrade to 6.1.3 as I will loose my JB and I cant downgrade.

I have a 4S running 5.1.1 jailbroken and I have a problem of that i get a battery drain of around 10%-12% per hour when I have the cellular data toggle on.

When I switch to wifi it only uses 2% to 3% per hour.

If I put it near my stereo with the cellular data toggle on I can hear the interference as the cellular radio is churning away at full power constantly.

Here is a list of things I tried already-

    -Close all backround Apps
    -Reboot
-Hard reboot (home and power button)
    -Turn off- Wifi
    3G
    Location Services
    All System Services
    Siri
    Icloud

    Restrict Ping
    Reset Network Settings
    Delete all Mail Accounts
Restore to back Up Via itunes

Here is what I have left to try-

    Replace SIM card
    Delete Apps one by one

Can anyone think of anything else to try??? Is it possible that it is a rouge App is causing the battery to drain when on cellular data and not on wifi or does it sound more like a system error?

Is there a way to restore as new without upgrading?

    Any Ideas?

You can't downgrade but you can re-restore to 5.1.1 since you have 5.1.1 shsh using redsnow 0.9.15b3. The restore option is under extras>even more.

Not sure how much a different sim will make a difference.

Ok.... think ill just go for the re restore then, This may a be a stupid question but will I be able to do that with redsnow even if I jailbroke with Absinthe? Also can you recomend a site to download the firmware?

Redsnow should be able to do it as long as you didn't get to 5.1.1 originally using OTA update. You can get the firmware from downloads section at the top of the page.

Hey....Ive treid the Re restore with redsnow as you advised but I get an error saying that The APTicket cannot be reused.

Reading further, I think this is the case because the firmware was installed at the factory. (I have never restored since new)

So... Im back where I started.

    Any other Ideas?

Ok, so I found a temporary fix.. AkAuto3g.. But I can't last like that for long.

So my only option is to upgrade?

Where do I go? 6.1.2? Is it possible?

I have tried to find the answer on here but there is so much info...

With a 4S you would be forced to 6.1.3 and no more jailbreak.
