iPhone 5 can not be restored.
I believe I deleted the bad tweak (iGotYa) but now iTunes gives me an error that states my iPhone cannot be restored be ause it was disconnected during restoration! I've tried three times! The same thing happened to my wife's iPhone 4S. She needed her phone so I was forced to upgrade her to 6.1.3. Do I share her same fate?

You cannot restore an iPhone 4S or 5 to 6.1.2 or lower anymore. 6.1.3 is the only option if you have to restore.

Yes but here is the funny thing. iTunes doesn't recognize my music, contacts, app setting or anything. But the memory space is taken up but not recognized. It is still jailbroken but in a state like its new. I have been deleting my cydia apps one at at time and restarting to see if it will go back to the state it was before it crashed. This has happen a week ago and i simply swiped it and complete restored it, re-jailbroke it, then restored from back up. Now I'm just trying to retire from backup but i get the message the it can not be completed because my iphone was " disconnected" even thou it was not.

I don't actually know what mobile installation is. If you don't either then chances are you don't have it installed so can skip to the second method there.
I read in the comments there that cracked apps can cause this. So if you have any I would suggest uninstalling all of them. If it is regarding that I can't help anymore than I have as we have a no warez policy on MMi (not accusing you in any way, your problem may be because of something totally different).Last edited by Simon; 03-22-2013 at 12:51 PM.
