So i am having an issue upgrading to ios 6.1 or even 6.0. I have an 4 iPhone 4 (GSM) that is jailbroken on ios 5.1.1. I am trying to upgrade through itunes holding the shift key while clicking the restore button. Can anyone help me out. After extracting the software it gives me an unknown error occurred (3194). Ive tried downloading the firmware from different sites both 6.0 and 6.1. Thanks

Those fw version are not signed anymore. You can't upgrade to them without SHSHs. Your only option is to upgrade to 6.1.2 if you do not have SHSHs to utilize.
Is there a particular reason why you do not want to upgrade to 6.1.2.

I have all my SHShs saved in cydia when i open it but i have never upgraded to IOS 6.0 or higher. I only have 5.1.1. I heard there is no untethered jailbreak for 6.1.2 which is why i dont want to upgrade to that. Also for some reason install ous isnt working for me anymore. It says in Cydia that it needs to be upgraded but whenever i try to upgrade its not working.

6.1.2 has an untethered jailbreak with evasi0n. Your other problem we can't help with that here since it involves piracy and is against the forum rules. Please read them thank you.
