Jailbreaks and basebands
Sorry, Simon. I am not making myself clear...
My point is: I don't really know how the device baseband is altered but I read that once it happens you cannot roll back and you'll have to use a custom IPSW.
I believe it was an issue when you tried to JB previous versions of iPhone or maybe with phones that were unlocked using ultrasn0w o whatever.
So my question is: what is the problem of having the baseband altered, if there's any?

Ok, let's get out of that main thread for this. Too much happening in there. Maybe if you give me some info for what device you have, what firmware and current baseband etc. then we can go from there.
If you rely on ultrasnow then this jailbreak is not for you. The jailbreak itself doesn't affect the baseband but you would have to update to 6.1 to use this jailbreak. Updating to 6.1 will update your baseband meaning ultrasnow will not work anymore.
