Default Restoring iPhone 4s (Serious help needed)
Iphone 4s here belonging to my sister, she lost the phone and has since recovered it but the phone was disabled as the password was changed and her own no longer worked

So the iphone is now disabled and says to connect to itunes. I have tried both DFU mode and Recovery mode and restoring the device both through the web and through a downloaded iOS, which none will work, even put a custom host file in the drivers section but still cant get it to work.

How can I restore this device? Gecko toolkit will not work on a iphone 4s so thats out is there any other option...?

You can use tinyumbrella to kick it out of recovery mode, then you should be able to do a normal restore through iTunes.
DFU mode will not work with 4s (A5 chip).

No, you can not restore it in recovery mode, you need to kick it out of recovery mode.
