Restore jailbroken 4s without updating
I have a 4s running 5.1.1 jailbroken. I deleted my keychains file trying to restore old data and since the email client won't load any emails and passwords on accounts have to always be entered. I wanna restore but not update software. I have no idea how to do this or how to save shsh blobs etc or what this invokes. Is there a complete idiots guide I could follow.*Although I'm running 5.1.1 catfish days at the top I'm on 6.0.1 I think. Thanks for the help

It hasn't worked for me. Cydia screen on iphone says SHSH ios 6.0.1
*
Yet my iphone is running 5.1.1
*
I used tinyumbrella to save my SHSH
*
I then go to redsnow restore and select it
*
I select the 5.1.1 build ive downloaded and then I select blobs Local and select the ones ive saved.
*
I then get the following message that I don’t any bobs saved for 5.1.1 and there are no displayed.
*
Why is this not working? Thanks

Unless you saved your SHSH blobs for your 4S before September of this year, odds are: neither you nor Cydia have the correct blobs for iOS 5.1.1.
Without those blobs for your particular device, you cannot restore to iOS 5.1.1. Sorry, but I'm afraid you're out of luck here.
