tricky thinking to get my shsh ???
Hey guys i was wandering since i dont got my shsh for 5.1.1 . and currently run on ios 4.1
can i update a stock 5.1.1 frameware then put my iphone to dfu mode to get my shsh ?
the problem that my phone is locked to certain sim ( which i dont know it
) and i want to preserve my baseband ??
so if i updated to stock 5.1.1 would that update my baseband ?? and what version would my baseband be ?
Or anyone can make it easy and just tell me how to pass error 11 when i upgrade to custom 5.1.1 with snowbreeze ??
P.s: i'm using windows
Thanks in advance

1- Signing is closed for firmwares up to 6.0.1, you're out of luck
2- anything else you wanna do is trivial since you cant update to anything but 6.0.1 ..srry but either you stay on 4.1 or go to ios6
Ps: also , dont worry... If you update your iphone to 6.0.1 and plug it into itunes it should tell you that theres an update for your sim card carrier

Only if you currently have your blobs (shsh) saved. Is your idevice jb'd?? If so then open cydia and look at the top.. If you see your ios version listed it meanss your shsh is saved on cydias server.. If you dont see anything listed in the "SHSH: " line then you're SOL.

These are not the edits you are looking for...
There are much nicer ways to convey that sentiment without being so pointedly aggressive.

OP: Yes, you can always downgrade to iOS 4.1 from any other iteration of iOS (provided you have the SHSH blobs saved for that firmware) on a 3GS or 4 (which since those are the only two phones that both 4.1 and 5.1.1 are available for, I'm making the bald-faced assertion that you have one or the other). Any other firmware is out of the realm of feasibility without SHSH blobs.Last edited by Orby; 11-28-2012 at 05:30 PM.

He can create a 5.1.1 with shsh to load to his device with a backup of his 4.1 firmware using redsn0w by "stitching" the 2 together..
But it will not be backed up on cydia...

Stay on iOS 4.1 & use iFaith to see what shsh's u can get off the device. Or use iSHSHiT from Cydia or Redsn0w to query Cydia servers for available shsh blobs.
Wtvr blobs u can get for ur device, those are ur options.
Hey mon! Whatcha be smokin, dat Ganga has rotted ur brain mon! U can't stitch iOS 4.1 blobs into iOS 5.1.1 firmware, no matter how high u are! Lol, jk!
Seriously though, u can't!
Did u stitch them together with Redsn0w or zig-zag?Last edited by nillam1; 11-30-2012 at 04:29 AM.
