I have an iPhone 3GS that is currently on 5.0.1 custom ipsw, jailbroken and unlocked. I want to restore the device using the same firmware bc i dont want to update to iOS6. The iPhone has the 5.0.1 SHSH blobs saved and i have the old custom ipsw that i used previously I am trying to use but i keep getting 1600 error. I've used TinyUmbrella to start the TSS Server (i think that's what it's called) and restore but that didnt work. I made sure i used redsn0w to get it into DFU mode but still doesn't work.
Any other tips? I really want to keep it on this firmware as I am shying away from iOS6 for many reasons.

Don't use Tiny Umbrella, just use Redsn0w to restore to 5.0.1. Redsn0w has a restore feature.

I'll give it a shot, where is this option within redsn0w?
