iForgot my password
I charged my old 3gs and found that I apparently set an advanced password on it, tried a few but no luck. I backed up and was just planning on restoring but I don't was iOS 6 on my 3gs, it's currently on 4.3.2, and I think it was jailbroken. Tried to restore to 4.3.2 and got error 3194. Should I enter pwned dfu through redsn0w and try again?

Entering pwned dfu mode will not help you. Error 3194 indicates that apple cannot verify your blob. This is normal as apple isn't signing this 4.3.2 firmware. What you need is shsh blob for the firmware you are restoring. If you have 5.1.1 blob saved in Cydia, download it onto your pc. Run redsn0w 0.9.14b2 , stitch the blob to the firmware, put iphone into pwned dfu mode and restore to this stitched 5.1.1 ipsw.

So there's no chance of me staying on iOS 4? How do I extract 5.1.1 blobs? It's been awhile for me jailbreaking.

And my shsh is apparently nowhere to be found
I queried cydia to see what blobs are available and I have full blobs for 4.1, 4.3, 4.3.5, 5.0.1

Then 5.0.1 is as high as you can restore too, open tinyumbrella, click save blobs, download 5.0.1 firmware to your desktop, then stitch those blobs to a custom 5.0.1 firmware using redsn0w. Pwn'd DFU mode, hold shift/control and click restore in iTunes, then point to the custom firmware you made.

Can I go to 4.3.5, I'd like to stay away from anything higher than iOS4 for this old 3gs.

You can as long as you have the blobs, yes. Same principal.
