What do you mean by SpringBoard reset? You have to be specific for us to be able to answer your questions.

Well,my iPhone 3G was jail broken and unlocked with Redsn0w and was working well.
Cydia has some upgrade the system and after that I wasn't able to unlock iPhone with Repo666.ultrasn0w.com.
The process is going fine, but on the end when you need to reset spring board, just stuck and running with no end.

Like you mean it won't restart itself? If you mean that then just reboot it yourself...
If you mean something else, tell me.

Going like this:
In Cydia for unlock iPhone You must run : manage/sources/ htpp://repo666.ultrasn0w.com/ultrasn0w and start application.
When application was installed You need to restart spring board.
That spring board restart is running and running and newer stop.
You can reboot iPhone manually, but Your iPhone is not unlocked !

Happened to my cousin once. Rebooting should solve the problem.
