Thread: phone keeps going into safe mode

i have a really weird issue.. Every mornng when i wake up my and look at my phone it tells me it's gone into safe mode.
now the only thing that could be causing this is the alarm as there is nothing else running or set to run through the night..? but i don't understand how that can be. My phone is jailbroken with Absinthe.
anybody know what i can do to fix this issue.. my alarm doesn't actually go off anymore hence me thinking it could be the alarm.

Try disabling your tweaks one by one via SBSettings or Springtomize. After that, respring and see if it crashes. Once it doesn't crash anymore, you'll know what tweak is causing it. If you don't know how to disable addons, go into SBSettings > More > Mobile Substrate Addons.
I highly doubt it's your alarm unless it's not the default alarm app.I will no longer be very active here anymore due to a variety of reasons.

its defo the default alarm clock app.. but if it were a tweak why does it not do this in the day. it only happens onvernight

Probably because you don't have an alarm set during the day, and therefore the app and it's processes associated with it are inactive.I will no longer be very active here anymore due to a variety of reasons.

Well, I would try putting it in safe mode for one day and see if it crashes over night, then we can confirm whether it's tweak related or it's just the phone itself.I will no longer be very active here anymore due to a variety of reasons.

Go to cydia and search for "crash reporter". Install that and wait for Sb to crash again. Then open up crash reporter and tap springboard. It should say what apps/tweaks it thinks is causing the problem.
