Very important -
i have a iphone 4 - on 4.1 unlocked on 1.59 bb with t-mobile
phones been working fine
today all i did was delete my facebook app and restarted my phone -
for some reason its just sitting at the apple logo - then goes to connect to itunes and then blank screen till i hit the power button then does the same thing.
I havent dropped it or done anything to damage it all i did was delete the app and restarted the phone -
how can i fix this
i cant restore it because i have about 400 pics of my son on there and getting ready to fight for custody and i need those pics i cannot lose them
can someone please tell me what to do to get my phone to boot back up

What happens if you do a hard reboot? (holding power and home down together till it reboots).
Really hard to determine what caused it. Let's start there.
If you have synced your device, all the pics will be in a back up.

when i put it in dfu mode and kick it back out - its goes back sitting just at the apple logo -
i tried using tiny to kick it out , nothing goes back to apple logo
i never synced it to itunes
like i said the only thing i did was delete the facebook app and restarted my phone -
i could care less if i get the phone working i just need those pics of my son and stuff

Zowie, even if you had openSSH installed, if the phone will not boot, you can't get root access to SSH the files out. A restore will certainly fix your issue, but not any help at retrieving the pics with never had synced your phone. (Why? sorry, had to ask).
Hopefully someone will post up with a solution. Doing a simple Google search is not showing any promising results.

i just tried re jailbreaking it with green poison to see it that would kick it into booting up, now its just stuck at the skull apple logo , geeez, theres gotta be a way to get this to boot back up , it was working fine, im thinking it just crashed when i delete the fb app but theres gotta be a way to boot this thing back up
Ok well i guess im stuck restoring it so can you tell me what version of snowbreeze i need to create custom fw and what version fw i should upgrade to while keeping my 1.59 bb and using it on tmobile i have ssh for 4.3.1 - .4.3.5- 4.1 which it was on - i did wanna go higher anyways since alot of new apps wont work on 4.1
i did just try making custom fw with snowbreez for 4.3.1 but when i did the restore through i tunes i got error 2005 , and i did have tiny running tss server

If you have a Mac or have access to one, there's a chance you can retrieve those photos. Sometimes you may be able to use iPhoto to import the pictures even if stuck in a boot loop (my friend did it once). But I can't guarantee that, there's just a chance.
You may try to SSH with Cyberduck. That has a Windows version if you don't have a Mac.
I have SSH'd into my device before when stuck in a boot loop but only Cyberduck would do it.

Yeah it's odd. No other program will do it, good thing I had a Mac bc at that time Cyberduck was Mac only lol.

Did you already wipe your phone?

Hi, I remember using
When back on iOS4. This makes a custom ipsw file which you can restore from without loosing your data. You then use iTunes to make a backup and then restore as normal if needed.
I have got instructions somewhere, but if you read post #18 here, that should help

There's also trying to boot into safe mode by holding down the + volume key button when booting.
