    Thumbs down Help anyone?
Hello, I have an iPhone 3GS and I had it jailbroken for several months on firmware 4.1 and I believe it was jailbroken with greenpois0n, but anyways I decided to try and update to version 5.1.1 today but I encountered this wierd problem when I was restoring it, now I can't use my phone. It has the screen where you first buy it, it says Connect to iTunes. Everytime I try and restore or update it, it comes up with an error message. Any suggestion? And yes, I have the most recent iTunes. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    What's the error message?
Is there a slide to emergency?
If its just a iTunes with a power cable logo. Just enter dfu mode and restore to 5.1.1.

It seams to me that your phone is in recovery mode and not in DFU. That might be a problem???

    Yah it is.

Just to say, You can never just 'update' a jailbroken iDevice.

So first thing to do would be, to put it in the DFU. Google a bit, you will find a lot of tutorials, how to do it properly
