What version of Java did you get. A search I saw a few things saying java 64 bit will not work with TU. Can't do further checking because work blocks most sites so I can't read into some more.

Dns/rpc client services are required as well as the ipconfig/netstat services along with a few other services... So I'm gonna go on a whim & ask...
What anti virus have you installed.
Whatever it is, disable it for the time being & then try it.. You'll probably find it's blocking it from running at the moment.

it says unable to validate library something then it gives me a txt file called umbrella. im currently running java version 32-bit
and my anti virus is trend micro
but the anti virus expired, so it shouldnt be a problem

It's been a while since I've used trend, but just stop that..
Because it's expired doesn't mean that it won't allow unknown program's to use system files, & trend is pretty decent like that in a good way... It being expired just means the virus database won't update.
So in an example like tinyumbrella, because it's trying to use particular files, it can & still will stop some program's running if it doesn't know what they are..
Good & free antivirus to use is avast.Last edited by Susty; 07-02-2012 at 07:09 PM.

it says unable to validate library and when i look at other videos, it doesnt say that, maybe that's the problem?

I can't say for sure that this will work since I just use redsn0w for this, but try unzipping (extracting) it and then try running it. Validate library seems like something to do with unzipping in my opinion.

make sure you have installed the latest java version
if you're not sure, just go to java.com and download it, install, then try opening tinyumbrella again

Never mind then. For me, it downloads zipped so...
Never mind then for that idea.
But since your PC is originally 64 bit and you loaded 32 bit onto it, they'll conflict. You have to un-install 64 bit in order for 32 bit to work.

i only have the 32-bit java downloaded, that shouldnt be a problem then right? hhaah
