Thread: International code with Gevey Ultra S

Default International code with Gevey Ultra S
I'm from New Zealand and I have a Verizon iPhone 4S unlocked using the Gevey sim and I noticed that when my contacts txt me, their number shows up with the NZ country code (+64) and when I call someone, my number shows the country code as well.

It doesn't do this problem with my factory unlocked iP4.

Do I have to manually save each contact with the country code in order to get their names saved, or is there a way to fix this issue?

ok seems to me that you will need the caller id format fix for ios 5.1.1 you will need to be jailbroken to do this which what you all ready have if you unlocked your phone and follow this guide

How to Fix Gevey SIM Caller ID on iPhone 4 | Jailbreak Unlock iPhone iPod iPad Free

and since your from new zealand change the gr to nz then save it and your done reboot if u think u cant do it i can do it over team viewer for you good luck mate. The guide is for iphone 4 but should also work for 4s.

I am from Greece and I have the same issue with caller ID with incoming calls and recent calls.
I have not managed to solve the problem and it is very important for me, I have 800+ contacts... I can't see who is calling me etc..
My device is 4s from USA with AT&T carrier (I have also the AT&T sim). Firmware 5.1.1 and bb 2.0.12. Gevey Ultra s with Vodafone Greece.
I did the above procedure but nothing fixed...
Before I did I the above, I have done the following:
I found the Caller ID fix for 5.0+ in Cydia, installed it and made a reboot with the two buttons. Instantly, the problem fixed and I had called ID in recent calls! I was happy!
After I installed *******, Winterboard, etc, from Cydia and after the reboot I lost (!!!) the caller ID again...
I reinstalled CallerID fix, but nothing. I uninstalled Winterboard and the others, I reintalled CallerID but nothing.
After these, I did the above post procedure with the string, but nothing again. I don't have caller ID.
I have to note that in the second string I should change, my country' s code is also "gr"...
Can you please help me to solve the problem?
    Thank you in advance
