Default Weird Jailbreak error. **Please help!**
    Hi all,

First and foremost, I'd like to thank you for reading my post.

I recently purchased another iPhone 4 (4.10.01) I used sn0wbreeze to JB it while preserving the baseband as I need to unlock it for T-Mobile via Gevey.

After successfully jailbreaking my iPhone and installing SBsettings & Dreamboard, I had to reboot my phone. After rebooting my phone, activator, and dreamboard does not open, it opens but closes immediately. I could however, open SBsettings and play around with the settings but it doesn't work when I swipe across the notification bar.

**Everything was working PRIOR the reboot. This is an UNTETHERED jailbreak, so I have no idea why this is happening. I've done the same process with my current iPhone 4 and its working perfectly fine.

I've tried re-jailbreaking the iPhone multiple times but same problem. Works after installing but after reboot, everything doesn't open.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Weird. Is the iPhone running on safe mode? Also, can you list all the cydia tweaks you have installed?

If after doing a fresh restore and re-jailbreking, is the phone running OK? If so, it may be a hardware issue; ie: bad motherboard, etc. Hope not.
Install one tweak/theme at a time, see if you can isolate the problem, or use SBSettings and turn off 1 tweak at a time to see if it is a software issue.

This is a fresh restore so I don't have any tweaks at the moment. The only tweaks I have are- FiverowIcon, SBSettings, and Dreamboard. All which were working perfectly but after the reboot, NONE work.

blkcadi, I know for a fact it is not a hardware issue as it was working perfectly fine on 4.3.3 before I decided I needed to wipe the phone for my sister.

Again, thanks for your help guys.

Could be the custom firmware you made to restore to if you had no issues before. If you have your SHSH blobs, which I assume you do, as they are needed to make a custom .ipsw for an iP4, perhaps try cooking up a new one or move up to 5.0.1. Just throwing out ideas...

Are you suggesting I use iFaith using the old SHSH files and cook up a 5.0.1 custom firmware then restore? How would I do this?

I've had numerous issues trying to restore to 5.0.1 before. Issues include error 3194 which I bypasses by fixing the host file, then 2005 which I fixed by using TU, then ultimately error 35 or 27? (I honestly forgot) basically it was the error to check for baseband preservation; iTunes discovered that the baseband was not updated so it threw me an error.

    Can't thank ya enough man.
